Digital image “Four Felt” by Robert Koss will be published in Issue 53 of the Creative Quarterly.
Digital image “Four Felt” is among three entries accepted for publication in Issue 53 of the Creative Quarterly Journal. The three entries are part of a series of silhouettes imposed upon a felt-like texture.
Issue 53 is in production and will be available in January 2019. The work is featured in both the Creative Quarterly Issue 53 journal and the Online Gallery: 53. The online Gallery will go live in January 2019.
About: Creative Quarterly is an international journal focusing on promoting the work of the creative community. The quarterly journals represent current work in graphic design, illustration, photography and fine art.
Check it out: I have a chocolate old fashioned and a marble donut in the show.
Did you know: The donut is one of the most highly-revered American pastries. It is currently experiencing a revival as more and more specialized donut shops continue to spring up around the country offering unique flavor combinations. The history of the donut is linked to the United States making the dessert a classic American icon.
— Jeff Barber, Arts & Events Supervisor at City of Santa Clarita
Please join me at the opening reception for the City of Santa Clarita’s newest exhibit, “Donuts” on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Santa Clarita City Hall. The First Floor Gallery at City Hall is located at 23920 Valencia Boulevard in Santa Clarita, California.
The reception comes with dessert (guess what?), entertainment, and the opportunity to meet the artists and socialize with like-minded art lovers.
Art displayed in this exhibit features, highlights, or uses the donut as a design element in the piece. All types of art are included in the exhibition including paintings, photography, and sculpture, said Barber.
The exhibit will be on display from June 5, 2018 to July 13, 2018.
