Artists were invited to submit work for “The Sound of Silence” exhibition exploring the boundaries of abstract photography. This show seeks to celebrate images that challenge perception, blur reality, and transform the everyday into the extraordinary. Whether through light, texture, movement, or conceptual experimentation, the gallery directors were looking for bold photographic work that redefines what a photograph can be. All styles and techniques are welcome here—digital, analog, pin-hole, experimental. All they ask is you let your lens question, distort, and reimagine.
Artwork “Suburban Square” by Robert Koss is featured in Spectrum Gestalt 2025 opening June 21 at bG Gallery in Santa Monica.

This immersive show features artworks arranged by color in a continuous spectrum, highlighting the collective power of individual artistic expressions. Artists are invited to submit works in a single dominant color, with 4×4 inch pieces automatically accepted and larger works curated for quality and space. The exhibition includes all mediums—painting, sculpture, embroidery, photography, and digital (with self-supplied screens). Founded by artist Airom and based on Gestalt principles, the event celebrates both established and emerging artists in a vibrant, inclusive setting.
