Don’t Miss this one: Spectrum Gestalt 2024 opens July 20 at bG Gallery in Santa Monica.

Make your move: ‘Bono’s Eyes’ to ‘Kahuna Reset E’ and back again. But where is artwork 3?

I have three artworks, including “Kahuna Reset E” and “Bono’s Eyes” pictured above, in “Spectrum Gestalt 2024” at the bG Gallery at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica

This is a fun show that explores color and form through various mediums and genres by many artists. You’ll even get to see my third piece!

The exhibition is noted as “a celebration of the power of color and creativity in contemporary art.” The three artworks selected for the show are uniquely different from my more recent work, which includes the “Smash-up/Mash-up/Cut-up” series currently making the rounds at galleries and exhibitions throughout the country.

Why not! The opening reception is July 20th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. If you’re within driving distance of Santa Monica, I hope to see you there!

/ˈabˌstrak(t)/ : Art Fluent serves up online rebellion against conventional art forms

My two artworks featured in the /ˈabˌstrak(t)/ Gallery are completely different yet meet the Art Fluent criteria of an online rebellion against conventional art forms. As noted on the website, “Abstract art is a daring rebellion against conventional art forms. Here in /ˈabˌstrak(t)/, we witness work that showcases vibrant colors, confident strokes, and chaotic compositions that convey deep emotions and complex ideas. All while delivering a wild atmosphere of liberation and imagination. Each piece in this collection bursts with artistic freedom, dripping in madness and unapologetic boldness.”

For this, I would like to give a special ‘thank you’ to the gallery director and founder,
Amy Matteson Neill, for including me in the show.

It’s a great show.

I am thrilled to be here.
